An Engine for Economic Growth


In 2013 we commissioned Deloitte to conduct a major econometric study into the contribution of advertising to the Irish Economy. The study was co-sponsored by Independent News & Media, Google & RTÉ.

The report found that €1 of advertising spend generates €5.7 for the Irish Economy.



Authored by economists Chris Johns and Jim Power and Alan Cox, CEO of Core Media, Marketing Multiplied is the first ever study that comprehensively reviews the influence of marketing communications on the growth of brands and national economies.
